A. The most convenient ways to order our product is to order online using your credit card. Go to our order page and order right away using your credit card. Q. How will the charge appear on my credit card /debit card statement?

A. We process all orders via Regsoft Inc or ShareIt!. Your credit statement will show a charge from "Regsoft Inc" or "ShareIt!".

Q. Can I get the product on a CD-ROM?

A. Absolutely! Products in a CD-ROM is optional for some extra charge. You can select "Yes" to CD-ROM option in the order form, and we will send the CD within a week's time. You still can convert your downloaded copy to full version using the license code.
If you have NOT opted for CD-Delivery option, you will NOT receive any boxed product for the purchase. In that case it will be a download-only purchase.

Your order process is protected via a secure connection so that the data sent by you can only be read by the recipient. Important information such as credit card numbers, addresses, etc. is sent to the recipient securely via the Internet. All of the data entered on the protected pages is encrypted(means jumbled-up using extremely complicated mathematical formula) using the SSL protocol. That way no 3rd party can view your credit card numbers, addresses or any information you send us.

Q. I have a system crash or purchased a new computer? How do I reinstall/register?

A. If you have a systems crash or purchased a new computer, you can reinstall it and apply the same license code given to you. If you have already saved a copy of the setup file, just install it from there or go to our products page and download it. After the installion apply the license code. If you have lost your license code just send us an email and we will resend the license code to you.

Q. How do I add/remove back side of my card?
A. If you are coming from version 1.3, do the following:
1. Open the card in Version 2.0.
2. Go to menu: Edit ->Add backside of Card.
3. Click on Back button on the left side to design the back side.
4. While printing select the side to print

To remove back side go to menu: Edit ->Remove backside of Card.

Q. Why do the shadows not show up even if I choose 'show shadow' on the properties window?

A. If shadow doesn't appear, your shadow option maybe turned off totally. Go to menu Tools->Options and choose shadow length to small/medium/large. You can also choose shadow color there.

Q. Can I create a vertically aligned card or a custome size business card?

A. Yes, surely. Click "new" tool button, and select blank document and vertical orientation or select other and enter you card size. You can also select a vertical template from the new card window for standard size vertical cards.

Q. I choose a background color, but doesn’t show up. Why?

A. If you don't see the background color you chose, it may be because of the presence of a background image. You need to remove the background image.

Q. I saved my design as a template, but does not show up in the "New Card Template" window. What's wrong?

A. You need to save your template in "[application folder]\templates" folder. If you have installed the software in "C:\Program Files\Newlite Business Card Printer", you need to save your newly created templates in "C:\Program Files\Newlite Business Cards Designer Pro\Templates".

Q. I closed the property window. How do I get it back for changing the properties(color, size, tilt angle etc.) of an element?

A. Double click on the element to get properties window. You can change color, size, tilt angle etc. there.

Q. How can I send my design to someone by email who does not have this software?

A. Use the 'Save As Image' command from the File menu to save your design as an image file. Then send it via email and the receipent can see it using any image viewer application, such as, Microsoft Photo Editor, PictureIt, Adobe photoshop etc.

Q. How do I use new font with the application?

A. You need to install the font in your computer. Business Card Printer pro pulls out all the fonts installed in Windows. Your font provider must have mentioned how to install the font in your computer. Please see http://www.microsoft.com/typography/ttfinst/ttfinst.htm for more on font installation.

Q. I cannot move or resize some elements in my design. Why?

A. Maybe that you have locked the elements. You need to unlock them to move or resize. Select the elements and click on the unlock button on the toolbar.

Q. I have some elements that are outside the design area. Will they show up on my printed card?

A. No. You have to bring all elements in the design area to show-up in print.

Q. What graphic file formats are supported by Newlite Business Card Printer?

A. JPG, BMP, GIF, WMF, PNG and TIF formats are supported. Additionally, if you can copy any image to the clipboard, you can paste into your design. However, you can save your design as an image in bmp, jpg, gif and png format.

Q. How do I use an image file that is in an unsupported format?

A. Convert the file to BMP format or to any supported format and use it.

Q. What type of paper do I buy to print business cards?

A. You can purchase sheets of business cards in office supply stores. Most office stores, such as, Office Depot, OfficeMax sell business card parers. We recomend Avery papers, and HP printer for best results.

Q. How do I use my letterhead with Microsoft Word document?
A. 1.Save your designed letterhead as an image file.
2.Open MS Word(*.doc)
3.In Word Doc, go to menu: Format->Background->Printed Watermark
4.Select a the letterhead image that you saved in step 1.
5.Choose scale 100% and uncheck Washout option. Click OK. You are done.

A. You can click on menu: File-->Database Settings to set up your data files.
Then go to menu: Insert-->Text From Database to insert a text.

Q. I want to print address labels from my Excel files. Do I need to know SQL?

A.
For most cases SQL knowledge is not required.
Steps to use excel data source:
1. Click on menu: File->Database settings. A Datasource Window appears.
2. Select excel option and browse to your excel file.
3. Now you will see a dropdown with all the excel sheets in the excel file.(an excel file may have one or many sheets)
4. Select the execl sheet you want from the dropdown.
5. Click ok.

At this point you have connected to your excel sheet with your work.
Now go to menu: insert->text from database, and insert an element to your design work. Then go to righthand side's properties area and see a drop down with all the columns in your selected excel sheet. Choose one column and you are done.
Then take a printpreview from file menu.

Q. How do I print only one label at a specified location on my sheet?

A. Suppose you have a sheet of 10x3 (30 TOTAL) labels and you want to print one label in position 8th row and 2nd column.
Then you choose this option in print window:
No. of rows=8
No. of cols=2
Start printing from row=8, col=2.
See illustrated image. The postion marked yellow will only be printed.
